A Message from Dr. Greg J. Duncan, Site Director, UCEC–Irvine

Education interventions—for preschoolers, K–12 classrooms, out-of-school learning contexts, and transitions to successful college careers—have exploded in the past decade, as have the sophistication of methods for evaluating their impacts on learning and well-being. The UC Irvine Site of the UCEC consists of faculty with interests and expertise in these interventions and methods. We are dedicated to provide help in learning as much as possible from education evaluation as well as training Ph.D. students with the expertise to design and evaluate future generations of education interventions.
